I didn't grow up knowing I'd own a med spa. I grew up knowing I wanted to help people feel better about themselves โ and that I wasn't afraid of hard work.
I became a licensed esthetician and spent years in the treatment room, learning the craft from the inside out. I saw what worked for patients. I saw what didn't. And I saw how much the business side โ the systems, the paperwork, the Google presence, the patient retention, the staff training โ was completely invisible in every licensing program I'd ever been through.
Nobody teaches you how to build a med spa. They teach you how to perform treatments. The rest, you figure out by making expensive mistakes.
